Book Within Cut-Off Times

Every service tier has a cut-off time for same-day or next-day pickup. Booking too late in the day can push a parcel into the following day's run — potentially without your knowledge. Understand the cut-off times for each service you use and build your dispatch workflow around them. When time is critical, book early rather than hoping the cut-off is flexible.

Use Tracking Actively

Tracking tools exist to give you visibility — use them. Monitoring your deliveries in transit allows you to identify potential issues early and communicate proactively with recipients if delays arise. This kind of proactive communication is appreciated by customers far more than reactive explanations after a problem has already caused frustration.

Build a Relationship With Your Provider

The businesses that consistently get the best results from their courier providers are those who invest in the relationship. Communicate your needs clearly, provide feedback when things go well or poorly, and engage with your account manager if you have one. A provider who understands your business is better equipped to serve it — and more likely to go the extra mile when it matters.
