Understand the cut-off times for each service you use and build your dispatch workflow around them. When time is critical, book early rather than hoping the cut-off is flexible.

Tracking tools exist to give you visibility — use them. Monitoring your deliveries in transit allows you to identify potential issues early and communicate proactively with recipients if delays arise. This kind of proactive communication is appreciated by customers far more than reactive explanations after a problem has already caused frustration.
